She was hired to create the Davis Media Center in 1976 which became an enrichment center for 12 years. Then she moved into the Kaleidoscope Program and onto her current role as Magnet Facilitator. Abigail Weigel

Abbie (Abigail) is the Davis General Office Administrative Secretary and has been here at Davis since Mr. Harrell became principal in 1984. Prior to this position she worked as a bus monitor for Davis. Abby was also active as a PTA mom at Barnard School where her son attended.

Sylvia Trister
Part Time Typist

Sylvia is a part time Clerk Typist at Davis. She happily greets all the children the bring in notes in the mornings. She has been with us since 2001 and prior to this role she was a stay at home mom. In a previous life she was a Graphic Designer. Sylvia is thrilled to be here at Davis, enjoying all the children as they prance into the office with their notes and attendance sheets!

Head Custodian

Chuck Brigante
Security

Chuck joined the Davis school team as our Security Guard in 2001. He greets all the children and parents as they enter our school through the main doors and helps keep our school safe. He makes sure that no one enters who shouldn’t and points all ‘lost souls’ in the direction they’re seeking. Chuck has worked in the New Rochelle School System since 1994. We’re lucky to have him here at Davis!
