Our PTA’s annual fundraising events rely on volunteers year-round, whether behind the scenes or at the events. Every contribution, big or small, significantly impacts our success and benefits our school community. For more information on how to get involved, please contact us.

Even if your schedule doesn't allow for hands-on volunteering with the PTA, joining is still vital to supporting our school community. Membership strengthens our collective voice, helps fund important programs, and keeps you informed about school activities. Your involvement, even without hands-on volunteering, contributes to a thriving educational environment.

Committees

  • Author's Week

    Works with reading specialists to select visiting authors to the school and coordinates presentation events for students.

  • Read-a-thon

    Organizes activities to engage students in the Read-a-thon, collects reading minutes and funds raised, and presents at both the opening and closing ceremonies.

  • Book Fair

    Selects the book fair vendor, prepares the gym for the event, and coordinates the class schedule and volunteers.

  • Class Parents

    Assists the teacher with class events and coordinates the class gift for teachers, aides, and monitors.

  • 4th & 5th Grade Reps

    The 4th Grade Representatives organize the Halloween Party and assist with graduation events. The following year, they transition to 5th Grade Representatives, where they coordinate the yearbook and plan end-of-year activities for the graduating class.

  • Carnival

    Organizes the carnival by selecting the theme and activities, seeking sponsorships and donations, and coordinating volunteers.

  • Field Day T-shirts

    Manages field day T-shirt order forms and distributes them upon arrival.

  • Picture Day

    Schedules the date with the photography vendor, distributes ordering information, and ensures smooth organization on both picture day and retake day.

  • Bingo Night

    Plans an fun bingo game night for students and families, purchases snacks, collects prizes, and calls numbers during the event.

  • Square 1 Art

    Collects orders for supplies, tracks arrivals and distributes materials to teachers for the event fundraiser.

  • Hospitality

    Plans the Holiday Breakfast and Staff Recognition Luncheon, coordinates refreshments for various PTA events, and organizes Staff Appreciation Days.

  • Heritage Dinner

    Organizes food, decorations, and entertainment for the International Dinner and Cultural Event.

  • Window Decoration

    Updates the PTA window in the Davis lobby every 4 to 6 weeks with creative themes inspired by the current season or upcoming PTA events.
